The Potential of Promise

Wow! Just the thought of that gives me pause….The potential of promise…

What do I mean? Join me and let us explore the powerful pages of the Bible….

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy fathers house, unto a land that I will show thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shall be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curse thee, and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him…” (Gen. 12:1-4)

Abram had NO idea what the Word over his life would manifest, what he would have to walk through, what emotions he would have to face (and conquer)…but just the POTENTIAL OF PROMISE put his faith in motion…The mere thought that the LORD Himself would keep His own word over Abram’s life, strengthened his faith and ignited his resolve to trust the Promise over his life.

Now lets fast forward to 2018 and put our fingers on our own pulse. What has the Lord spoken to the quiet places of your own heart? Regarding you? Your promise? Your children? Your business? Your health? Your mind? When life happens and you find yourself in a place where you trust God but your heart and your walk long for a moment to catch it’s breath, do you have enough will-power to fix your heart on the promise. Will-Power? Gathering enough strength to tell your mind that your promise is worth your yes.

Man/Woman of God, trust the potential of promise! Trust what might happen, if God’s Word is true (and it is) what do you have to lose! Believe Him for the impossible! I am nudging you today, to mount up enough strength to trust His promise over your life!

There is more power in God’s potential than there is life in your hesitation! As religious as this may sound, let your declaration today be, “I BELIEVE THE GOD OF MY PROMISE!”
