Dr. Amanda Jones
Dr. Amanda B. Jones is a native of Wilson, North Carolina. She is the founder and pastor of Christ Deliverance Tabernacle Ministry Inc. and AJ Ministries Inc. She attended Norfolk State University (under a work program), Barton College, Wilson Community College, Morris Cerullo Evangelistic School and Ellis Chapel Bible Institute. She received her doctorate degree in Divinity from Grace Bible Institute, an extension of Emmanuel University, in Rocky Mount, N.C.
Dr. Jones has been in the ministry for over 33 years, having served Wilson Revival Center for about 8 years. This dynamic woman of God is known to many as one who ministers with the primary focus of doing what it takes to get people saved in preparation for the end time harvest. In 1999, she was called and anointed for the office of an apostle. She has traveled throughout the east and west coast ministering to many denominations and organizations. She has been sought after as a leader, counselor, and teacher. It has been her privilege to serve at various Women's conferences, Marriage seminars and Youth Rallies. In 2020, in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, she organized an Intercessory Prayer line, which is ongoing, that provides encouragement and hope to people from the east to west coast. She is known as the “Prayer Line Pastor”.
Dr. Jones is a leader in the community and serves on various boards. In 2011 she became a certified chaplain for International Police Fire Chaplain Association (IPFCA) and is the 1st woman to become a Colonel and Chief Deputy in the IPFCA. She has been trained as a sexual advocate and volunteers when called upon. She is listed in the National Register of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals 2000-2001 edition. She has received recognition for giving of her time, talent, and energy to improve the quality of life in the community, including a Certificate of Recognition from the Jefferson Awards committee. She is currently a certified licensed foster parent.
She was married to her love; the late Dossie Jones Jr., co-founder of Christ Deliverance Tabernacle Ministry, Inc. They have four children, Dossie 3rd, Vickie, Robin and Aliyah (adopted in August 2021), twelve grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dossie was fully supported of the ministry that God has assigned to her hands.
From a leader's point of view, she proclaims, "It's time for the church to take its rightful place in the community and reach out to the hurting, lost and those that believe that they have no hope."
Because of her experience in the ministry, the protocol of Christ Deliverance Tabernacle Ministry is Ephesians 4:16 "Strengthening the Parts to Perfect the Whole".
