The Gathering at Forestville is a nondenominational church, strategically located on the outskirts of Washington, DC. Under the spiritual leadership and guidance of Bishop Donald A. Wright, The Gathering at Forestville was founded in 2010 after a time of prayer and fasting.
At The Gathering we are committed to the saving and empowering of souls by rightly dividing the Word of God in truth, power, and love.

When you're in the middle of the fight, don't quit. The battle may be difficult, and you may feel weary, wounded, or discouraged, but victory belongs to those who endure. Every challenge is an opportunity to strengthen your faith and trust in God's promises.

The Gathering is a rapidly growing congregation with a passion to see the Kingdom of God manifested in the earth through the power of prayer, pure worship, and the teaching of the rightly divided Word of God in truth. We are committed to transforming lives, strengthening families, and equipping believers to walk in faith, purpose, and spiritual authority while advancing God's Kingdom in our communities and beyond.
OUR PASSION
The Gathering's passion is to create an atmosphere where you won't be able to tell the ex-drug dealer from the attorney, or the truck driver from the doctor. Where at any given service you are apt to find an ex-prostitute standing beside a CEO; a place where everyone lifts their hands and their hearts in worship to the One and Only Savior, Jesus Christ
